| Eric
Felten’s debut album paired
him with one of the legendary originals in jazz, trombonist Jimmy
Knepper. Also on hand is Joshua Redman. This record of straight-ahead
bebop instrumentals established Eric as a leader in the new generation
of jazz trombonists. The disc also caught critics’ ears [Four
Stars – Down Beat] with Eric’s original compositions.
After listening to T-Bop,
the Penguin Guide to Jazz
declared that Eric was “a talent on
